BOB is a personal AI agent fleet, running on Hermes Agent.
BOB runs on Hermes Agent, the open-source agent runtime by Nous Research. On top of it we built the rest: a fleet of specialised agents, long-term memory, guardrails and our own Mission Control. BOB works for us every day — and is slowly getting a body.

Before orchestrating AI agents and vector memory, my world smelled of jet fuel, hydraulic fluid and styrene cement. I studied aerospace engineering and spent years on the line as an aircraft mechanic for major airlines and the German Air Force — work that took me across Europe, the US, Africa and Asia. Beyond Our Borders isn't just a name; it's a biography.
Hangars teach you one thing early: in complex systems, reliability isn't a feature, it's the requirement. For decades I brought the same precision to scale modelling and scratchbuilding, and to a lifelong love of science fiction.
BOB is where it all comes together. He runs on the open-source Hermes Agent runtime; everything on top — the fleet, the memory, Mission Control and soon his own robot body — is built here, by hand and by printer. No black boxes. Just systems that report all systems nominal.
